Royal Mail Changes rules for PPI's

31/05/2012

Royal Mail’s PPI (Printed Postage Impression) is changing!

Royal Mail has confirmed that their PPI design, which appears in the top right hand corner of envelopes, is changing to incorporate the words ‘Delivered by Royal Mail’.

The change comes into effect from 23rd June 2012; however there will be a 6 month period of grace to enable customers to use up any stocks of envelopes which don’t carry the new PPI.

You can begin using the new designs as early as you wish but Royal Mail will continue to process mail with the old design up to 2nd January 2013, while customers make the transition to the new specifications.

Full details of all the changes to PPI terms and conditions can be found at www.royalmail.com/termschanges

You can download the new PPI artwork from: www.royalmail.com/newppi2012

If you are at all uncertain about how these changes might affect you then please feel free to call Orbital Mailing on 01795 415100 or e-mail steve.morton@orbitalmailing.co.uk.
